Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fine Dining General Manager to lead our esteemed restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience. The Fine Dining General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Manage and coordinate with all departments, including kitchen, front of house, and bar.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant laws.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Foster a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere for all patrons.
- Ensure all staff provide top-tier customer service.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring they are well-informed about the menu and service standards.
- Schedule and manage shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement strategies to increase sales and manage costs effectively.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure the highest quality of food and beverage is consistently delivered.
- Work closely with the executive chef to develop and refine menu offerings.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotions, events, and special offerings.
- Maintain an active presence on social media and other platforms to promote the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and spirits.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
